About the work
Acrylic on wall canvas. Thioker — the Wolof name for the young partridge — is a poetic, symbolic warning. The artist evokes the wind that ruffles the feathers of human thought, sometimes to the point of rashness. A reminder drawn from the elders: stay rooted in the tree of reason.
